Do you listen to movie soundtracks?

As the title really, if you do what ones do you listen to? My favourites so far are:

Blood Diamond
Stardust
Man On Fire

Re: Do you listen to movie soundtracks?

I can't, i prefer to watch the scene it's in as it always gave more impact.
Although movies like The Lost Boys are an exception.

Re: Do you listen to movie soundtracks?

i have quite a collection of soundtracks, i have a lot of unusual ones from films that aren't well known, but those involved in the music are known in certain circles, i have a decent collection of explotation soundtracks, a few italian cinema, etc

one of my favourties is the deathwish soundtrack by herbie hancock, and the taxi driver soundtrack, as regards to original music by composers, instead of a bunch of songs either compiled from previously released music, or compiled by an accountant to sell the artists that the parent company of the music studio and record company look after

when it comes to original composed songs, rather than score, purple rain was voted the all time number 1 by vanity fair recently, and that has to be up there for me, along with princes other soundtracks for under the cherry moon/parade, graffiti bridge (the soundtrack is great, the movie is only beaten in the crap stakes by moonwalker), and batman

Re: Do you listen to movie soundtracks?

The only ones I have in my collection are:-

Kill Bill 1 and 2
Pulp Fiction.

Amazing choice of tracks and almost all a winner. Even the bits of dialogue are a joy to listen too. Love to know if Tarantino chose them personally.
