Grew up listening to this mom had this and War of the worlds on all the time, Looking at buying a copy on CD but there are loads of them, I am looking for the best quality audio recording, If the recording quality is not good on any of them please let me know It would kill me if I put it on and it sounded acoustically awfull.

To say the least I'm not a great fan of JCS but I've just listened to The Modern Jazz Quartet with Paul Desmond's version of the title number. It's superb.
