Old Record Title

One for us "Old Swingers" !!!!!!!
About 20 years ago a non vocal record went into the top 20 for a short period. It was an instrumental piece and had a Cuckoo and Bird Sounds in the background and at the end. It was a lovely relaxing theme tune.
Question: WHAT WAS IT CALLED or WHO BY ?
And has anybody got a copy they could email me please.
Help Please
Cheers

Re: Old Record Title

It's aggrovating me. I know the track you are on about. I always thought it was a bit cheesy. Sort of woodland sounds.

Well (showing my age now), I remembered that the song was called something along the lines of 'And the birds did sing' and googled that and luckily the song was on YouTube. I think it was often referred to by it's French title 'Et Les Oiseaux Chantaient' . It's actually from 1978 .

I tried to find it, UK charts, instrumental, birdsong. Thought it would be easy to find as it's sp distinct. You did well finding that. Horrible though it is
