5.1 best played here + the solo is best i.e half way ..

also MODS if you can put this in the brothers in arms thread (i created a bit back) i can not find that would be better, as the search engine i used. but it is like trying to finding a fart in a haystack..

One of my all time favourite guitar solos . All the more impressive considering Knopflers technique.

I would love to see Dire Straits perform live at the O2 Arena in Greenwich. As I have never seen them live.

Yea, I'm a fingerpicker so that comment reminds me yrs ago, over coffee a colleague talks about this band fronted by a guitarist who plays elec like me only much, much, much better!!
