going up to manchester to see metallica tommorow been few years since iv last seen them just been reading reviews from usa looks like they stil rocking ,feel like im 17 again .,,,.40 now

, my poor partner who got the tickets never been to see a rock show befor she into madonna and dance music and no idea

)))) whats going hit her ears about 9 ish tommorow night

let you know how it whent, and whats cool just been on metallicas site and pre orderd the gig for download on mp3 for £7 brill

Agree - I was there as well and it was very, very good. As it was "in the round" I ended up having a great seat. Will try to post some pics later! The new material sounded great live, and we even got some golden oldies like Leper Mesiah, Four Horseman, Fight Fire with Fire !!!!

In the round was awesome, it gave everyone a chance to see everything! I saw standing really near the front, when the flames came I almost burnt my eyebrows!

I love The Judas Kiss Songand One so glad when they played them

loved it when they played cyanide fantastic song live im knackerd today did not get back home till 3 .30 then m 2 year old woke up and was up till 5 long day today with kids,

they played a good mix of old and new even my girlfriend enjoyed it and she not into them ,things hav changed thou there was so many kids just sat down recording the show with there mobiles i must be showing my age lol when i was there age i would been drunk and jumping about like a idiot for 3 hours they where more botherd if they got a good shoot with there mobile and busy texting on bloody phones they might as well stayed at home and watched it on utube,, defo try get seem them live this summer some point want go again tonight

I went to Manchester - my 8th time seeing them. It was great - not the best Ive seen them, but awesome still. They were a bit light on pyro this time around, seen them with a lot more fire and explosives indoor in the past. Great stage setup - but preferred the Load stage.
Anyone know why Kirk doesnt play the second part of the solo to Blackened anymore? I fail to believe that he just cant do it now.

Glad I got seated tickets, I was in the second row from the front - perfect! The standing tickets definitely got the worst deal there!

It will be my umpteenth squillion time seeing them and i still get butterflies when ecstacy of gold starts
I prefer smaller venues myself but wembley 07 was an awesome day

I first saw Metallica in the 80s when they toured supporting the M.o.P album.

I went to the o2 last night and they were awesome, the best I've seen them for a long time. The new material sounded really good as well. I'd love to get some tickets for the 28th, but they're still going for crazy prices on ebay, I'll wait until closer to the show.
