T In The Park 2009

See the official website is down this PM getting ready for the lineup announcement tomorrow lunchtime (Tue 24th Feb).
Ticketmaster site is stating that the last batch of tickets go on sale Friday morning at 9AM.

Anyone going?
I will be attempting to get a weekend camping ticket for my nephew (if anyone has doublebooked themselves and has a "spare" to sell at cost+service then please PM me and save me the grief of the dreaded timeout screen on the ticketmaster website on Friday morning)

Cheers
Les

Me and my mate will be there!

I got two full weekend camping tickets about 2 months ago when they put a small amount up for sale.

I cant wait, the line-up looks pretty good!

Re: T In The Park 2009

Personally, I would camp/stay offsite if I were unless you like the ambience of stabbings, drunken neds and your tent getting slashed open to steal your valuables (whilst you are sleeping it off)...

First time we went someone smashed our windscreen and you could see where people had been sitting on the bonnet and resting beer bottles on the roof.

Knife violence casts a dark shadow over T in the Park - The Scotsman

Re: T In The Park 2009

Some pals did security the other year at T in the Park and vowed never to do it again due to all the peed up neds.

On the other hand I did security at the Retrofest which is an 80s festival and the most trouble we had was trying to get Kid Kreole and his Coconuts off the dodgems - I kid you not!!! I was severely peed of at being one of the only sober people there at such a fab event.
