The Fins Supporting The Rifles

The Fins are booked up to support The Rifles again, and I can't wait!

Not sure if any of you have heard of them, a UK indie/rock band that are making a stir on the national circuit. Anyone here a fan?

We are supporting:

26th March - The WaterFront - Norwich
27th March - 02 Academy - Birmingham
30th March - Rescue Rooms - Nottingham
31st March - The Ritz - Manchester

Sone of the biggest venues ever for this band, looking forward to it!
Wonder if their management might finally give in and take us under their wing all this self management and self released records can be a real drag.

Re: The Fins Supporting The Rifles

LOL - I used to play on our BMX's over 'the yard' with the lead singer (Ryan) and his older brother Steve when we lived in the same street in Farnborough in the mid-to-late 80's with all the other kids.

Those were the days!

Re: The Fins Supporting The Rifles

Being a Fleet boy and loving The Rifles I'll check these out :thumbsup

O/T: Pity we suffer from a lack of live venues in our neck of the woods. Re-open The Tumbledown, that's what I say.

Re: The Fins Supporting The Rifles

Fleet doesn't hold out much hope for indie bands really
I did play in teh highstreet on the back of a lorry once in Fleet though

Camberley has the Square Bar and The Agincourt.

Tumbledown has been a home for many years...rumour has it that soon it will re-open!!!!!

Aldershot has the Westy, and loads of other places around.

edit, and with jacks on your doorstep you cant complain????

Wicked guys!!!

well make yourselves known, I will do my best to let you know stage times when we know.

Just keep an eye out for the scruffy drummer at the bar and say hi.
