Cool Proms Tonight
Is anyone else watching the proms on BBC2 or listening on Radio3?

Tonight it is on British film music not only is some of the music excellent (Warsaw Concerto on in the background at present). Timothy West is giving an introduction/background to the music to the to be played.

They did not mention it at the end.

I was surprised how some of the old music used in our films influenced the more modern composers. I could see bits (hear) of Shapes of Things to Come. In the first Star Trek film when the Klingons are first shown.
