I'd be interested in buying the sacd version if there is one. Can anyone shed any light on things - thanks.

p.s. What's the cd version like?

just tried my minidisk copy of the ultimate yes with 3802 and cdm1nts, musically its sounding detailed but "thin"

i should be getting another integrated amp next week and will see how this compares to 3802 ( unison reasearch unico valve preampstage and ss power section) which i hope will improve matters.

thank you

Think you will find its usual for MD to sound thin, so it may not be the CD at fault. I couldnt find any reference to remastering on the disc though.

Going to see the classic Yes line up next year in Manchester. I just had to.

I think I'll purchase the cd version anyway. If an sacd is released I'll use the cd version in my car.

The CD is only £9.87 at ASDA at the moment. Good price for a double CD.

Folks as both YES hi rez discs have been on DVDA I would expect they wont release SACD.

Close to the edge is rumoured for DVDA.

Quite a useful forum http://www.quadraphonicquad.com/foru...isplay.php?f=9

click multichannel DVDA and look for post about releases.
