The Grifters- crappin you negative

This is interesting stuff, lo-fi 4 track demos, which you would think would detract from the music, instead they seem to add a handmade dimension. Bit like the difference between a craftsman made article and one which is machined to perfection.

Anyway they sound like......urrrrr, like the Meat Puppets, well not exactly like that, with a more Memphis sound (I think). Its sort of quirky music which uses guitar drones as a part of the sound, like Nirvana did with vocals, if you know what I mean.

To be honest they are hard to describe, but like a buffet meal, I keep going back for another bite and each time I come away from the table with a smile on my face
