Thanks: Gave 44, Got 139 | Janes addiction-new album
After listening to JA recent single, I found out they are about to release a new album called Strays. I have always been a big fan of JA and love Ritual lo Habitual. This new album sounds like its going to be good (fingers crossed). I listened to snatched of music on Amazon. Its released 21st of this month.

did I read that it's a double album? Or maybe I made that up... The single "just because" is blistering - I'd buy the album on the strength of that alone.

not sure................ i shall have a listen. Bit like that U2 single the sounded amazingly similar to the A-Ha single, infact you could sing over the top of the U2 melody, with the A-Ha lyrics eithout a problem...............By that bloke could sing.

Theres a slight similarity, but only on the very start of the first bar of GnR not enough to call it similar.

Well no matter how slight, every time it starts up on the radio at work I expect to hear G 'n R.Probably why I need a tuner for guitar and can't do it by ear | |

If top E is tuned right , I can just about tune everything else to pitch, only very slightly out. I can then swap to alternative tunings like drop D and back. But can I tune top E without a tuner...........no way, neither can I tune whilst Im playing, I haveto stop and make humming sounds to compare tne pitch of each string until its reasonably close and by then its obvious. Wouldnt go down too well at a gig.....sound like Laurie Anderson

tuning is an art best left to others, let your strings find their natural pitch.......and see how long it takes to reach eviction! jane's new album is really rather good(thank god). i've been a fan since nothing's shocking, and while the new one doesn't have the quirks of it, or the epicness of ritual de lo habitual, it is the funkiest thing i've heard since faith no more's angel dust! damn it's been a long time a comin'!
