It's "So Fast, So Numb" from the "New Adventures In Hi-Fi" album.

Hadn't heard that in years until Sunday. Good gig but I'd have liked a little more old stuff like some of the previous gigs they've done. Nothing pre-"Life's Rich Pageant". I'm probably being a little greedy.

If you like REM then Warner are to release their Greatest Hits
on 3 seperate formats. These will be a 2cd edition, dvd-audio
and a dvd. The release date is October 28th in the US.

R.e.m. 'In Time - The Greatest Hits' confirmed as 27th October in the UK :-)
This album will probably only contain the tracks from the Warner Bros years... 'Green' - 'Reveal' (+ 2 new tracks)
Get yourself a copy of 'The Best of' or 'Eponymous' which covers the earlier material.
Watched them @ T in the Park on Saturday evening and they were, quite simply, awesome!!!

I'm sure I read somewhere that it was to be career spanning with the band picking the tracks as opposed to a straightforward singles collection.

I certainly hope so.

If I was Kopite (and as an Everton season ticket holder that's very unlikely ), I'd be picking up every album from 'Murmur' through to 'Green' -- all of them are faultless and can be picked up cheaply. Big shouts to 'Life's Rich Pageant' (my favourite) and 'Document'

Just checked the website again.
No confirmed track listing but it does say 1988-2003.

2 very good albums indeed! and can bve picked up in double cd form for about a tenner! More of a document fan myself, but Lifes Rich Pageant does have its moments.
