Music Industry turning against loud compressed recordings?

Hi Gents

If you've lamented the fact that most music released in recent years has been compressed to death at full-on volume, this industry campaign group in the US may be of interest:

Turn Me Up! | Bringing Dynamics Back To Music

They are trying to bring about a return in the industry to recorded music with dynamics. Lordy! If this were to be distributed around the numerous music/audiophile forums worldwide, might we at last have some audiophile recordings to enjoy again?! Don't be shy about signing up!

Cheers

George
