For those that didn't know, here are the UK dates for next year


Feb 25 Nottingham, England Trent FM Arena
Feb 26 Manchester, England MEN Arena
Feb 28 Sheffield, England Sheffield Arena
March 2 London, England o2 Arena
March 3 Newcastle, England Metro Radio Arena
March 25 Birmingham, England LG NEC Arena
March 26 Glasgow, Scotland SECC Arena
March 28 London, England o2 Arena


Tickets on sale via ticket master 9am this Friday

Great, I was at the 02 a couple of weeks ago for the Metallica gig.. it was outstanding.. (My favourite band) defo back for the March 2 gig

I've looked on ticketmaster, I hope the don't of load a load of tickets to GETMEIN
http://www.getmein.com (their tout site) as they did with the AC/DC tickets

The o2 dates are now added

£45 a ticket

It says something about o2 customers can get tickets from tomorrow?

Tickets for the NEC can be ordered from the Venue Thursday by looks of it. Think im around that are on Thurs so may have to pop over

Apparently they are doing a round stage similar to the Load tour again.

Yeah I was there for that tour.......doubt theyve got the 'collapsing' lights though. They were awesome! Just had to pop cunning stunts on the telly box to reminise

I still dont like Death Magnetic but must admit I am really excited to see them with the round stage again. Thinking of seeing Corrosion of Conformity and Metallica in Manchester all those years ago. Ive reminded myself of how much I enjoyed that setup! Plus Metallica were great at Wembley last year I cant wait to see them indoors again - I just really hope I can get a ticket after the AC/DC fiasco as those tickets went in seconds to non fans.

For anyone thinking of buying tickets in Nottingham, if you sign up to the Nottingham Arena "Members Club" you can buy pre sales exclusive tickets on Thursday 23rd October, instead of the Friday.

I signed up long ago to the Members Club, I don't remember it costing anything, just a few spam emails.

Yeah you can get standing or seated. Go to http://www.ticketmaster.co.uk and browse to the Metallica dates, Metclub gives you a presale code to pop into the ticketmaster page whether you chose standing or seated.

I'm incredibly hopeful that Lamb Of God will be supporting the UK leg. They are doing shows with 'Tallica in the US and Machine are only stepping in for 2 nights over there as LoG are banned from a venue - so I really hope they will be on the UK leg....

Got my tickets through the Metclub pre sale yesterday just after 9am two tickets for the O2 shows. Joined the club back in 06 and have had great pre sales for the wembley gig back in 07, then Dublin back in August and the Death Magnetic party, definatley worth the money a great fan club, the band do a meet and greet for the shows and the club mag So What is pretty cool as well.
