Has anyone used the M-Audio FastTrack USB or the X-Session?

i want to do some guitar recording onto the pc. I am thinking of a USB option so i can use it on a desktop and a laptop (for convenience purposes). I just want to know if either of these are any good and which one is better for recording?

Re: Has anyone used the M-Audio FastTrack USB or the X-Session?

I borrowed the X-Session of a mate and can honestly say it's next to useless. Horrible interface, horrible configuration, buttons are very plasticky and seem like they can break any time. Very cheaply made.

This was borrowed for a bit of mixing though and different to what you want to use it for.
