Re: Dixie Dregs

Theres been more than a few posts mentioning the Dregs over the years but i don't think theres many fans of the jazz-fusion days left. I've got Free Fall, What If and the Live Front Row DVD-A. Theres a few Mahavishnu Orchestra, Jean-Luc Ponty fans around, me being one of them.

Re: Dixie Dregs

nothing new just a redone version of MOs vision album.
I had an old one but the newish remix/rehash sounds like an up to date recording.

many of the older albums can not make good use of the subbie in my car and can sound rather flatish but this one sounds as good as this album which incedently really rocks..er so to speak.

any way Im rapt to have a version of VOTEB that sounds so crisp.
my X reckons Ive fried my brain on this kind of music ...but what would she know..........

Re: Dixie Dregs

Thanks - for one minute I thought there was a new special remix by a rapper or something!
Yes, I have the remastered Columbia recording and agree it sounds really great.
Cheers
