Best Song Intro Ever ?

Was driving home from a meeting and had Radio1 on and decided that most stuff on Radio1 is crap.
Popped in my cd and on comes The Who - Pinball Wizard. This got me to thinking that there are very few songs around nowadays that have decent intros.
Thought I would start this thread to see what folk reckoned to be a great intro. Looking for quirky , different , strange or just pure awesome intros as per Pinball Wizard.
Could throw up some intereting suggestions or die on it's arse. Lets see.
I'll start the ball rolling.

AC/DC - Live Wire
AC/DC - Hell's Bells
Public Enemy - 911 Is A Joke
Korn - Twisted Transistor
Ozzy Osbourne - Diary Of A Madman
Ozzy Osbourne - Crazy Train
and of course -
The Who - Pinball Wizard

Cheers.
David

Ah no worries,
To be fair, it is 5 years old - I was referring to that thread because it had some good suggestions, I was not trying to say it has already been discussed.

Re: Best Song Intro Ever ?

No probs
Let's see if this one throws up anything new or as I suspect there are very few in 'newer' music.

Re: Best Song Intro Ever ?

Good thread. I don't remember the original.

I'll add Accept's "Fast as a Shark"

Re: Best Song Intro Ever ?

AC/DC - You shook me all night long
Dire Straits - Money for nothing
Queen - I want to break free

My favourite:

U2 - Where the streets have no name: The lush synth pad, followed by the Edge's palm mute guitar and then the hooky bass kicking it into gear. Great stuff
