Whole lotta Olympics!

Jimmy Page, and Liona Lewis performed a version of Whole Lotta Love for the Olympic Closing Ceremony.. and it was great!

Re: Whole lotta Olympics!

Whoever was in charge of the sound dropped a clanger there. When Jimmy started the riff it like like the sound director went "**** that's loud turn it down, bugger now it's too low oh sod it just keep turning up and down". It sounded dreadful.

Missed Jackie Chan. Where was he?

Re: Whole lotta Olympics!

Ah, had turned it off by then. The "Beijing" song was enough for me after our dreadful bit.

Probably some laughing Chinese sound engineer who didn't want us out "rocking" their parade!
Seriously though I think that our olympics will be much funkier and not as "corporate!" as the chinese!

See my post under Jimmy Page and Leonna Lewis at the olympics, in the general chat (Non AV related section) forum.

Re: Whole lotta Olympics!

Well, we just have to wait and see whether all the money that will be forked up for the London Olympics will be up to mark.

God Help Me!
