Smile Simple Minds 30th Anniversary Tour

I did a search but couldn't find a thread on this, shame on you!

Seriously though, anyone going? I have 2 front row tickets for Belfast in December.

They are apparently going to play all of New Gold Dream at each gig and maybe a few new songs (as they are currently recording their new album in Rockfield Studios).

Some news and stuff here.

Can't wait!

Re: Simple Minds 30th Anniversary Tour

Don't think I'll go to the Dec gig. I saw them only once in my life and that was in Killarney - about a 6/10 - very disappointed.

I was a big fan of them in the 80s and even 90s had some great tracks, but a lot of their recent CDs have been average - although I thought that Black & White was a decent enough album.

Would love to see them make it big again, but don't think the market is there for them any more.
