Roger Waters dvd

I decided to get Roger Waters -in the flesh live dvd,and you know what? its relly not bad at all, the sound is well good 5.1 the picture quality is good and he does most of my fave tracks on there,24 tracks in total for £7! im going to start a collection of music blu rays,(i know its not a blu ray)but the p/q and sound isnt too far off.was gonna get David Gilmour, but there was David Bowie on it(nowt wrong with Bowie) just didnt fancy it. next one will be Korn methinks,or any other decent dvd music ones, they sound excellent through the ps3 and 606,even the missus liked olRoger!!!any suggestions please feel free to let me in on it and ill check em out. Seriously, that Roger Waters is alright!!!

cheers Malk

Re: Roger Waters dvd

The Genesis is indeed astonishing picture quality and sound. So good, I don't think it would be worth upgrading it even if it came out on BR.

Watched the Gilmour albert hall DVD and thought it was pretty good to be honest.

Jarre in china is stunning PQ/sound too. THX certified. First one apparently.

Re: Roger Waters dvd

dont buy the david gilmour one on blu ray, just get the dvd and save some money, the picture quality is ok but not what i'd expect from a blu ray disk, its only 1080i too was hoping it would be 1080/24p.roger waters is one of my favourites got in the flesh live,a very good dvd imo.

Yeah but the PCM audio is supposed to be superb (if your amp is LPCM capable)

Re: Roger Waters dvd

In The Flesh is good £7 wish mine had cost that when i bought it.

Remember That Night is good but i don't play that as much as the DG In Concert DVD.

JMJ in China i hate to say i found very boring to watch, i would rather listen to it.

Saw RW at O2 this year. I hope there will be a DVD of that tour, it'll be terrific.

I agree, the pic quality for bluray release is not great, but thats to do with how its been shot, very grainy!!!

But Tru-HD soundtrack is fantastic, very immersive - it is an expensive purchase though on region 2, think i paid about £28.00 for mine.

Im now going to check the Waters DVD out, i missed him at the 02 - heard it was fantastic
