Is this the BEST cover version EVER?!?

The band are called 'Spoiler' and appear to come from Holland, although they could not sound more American if they tried.

The song? Believe it or not, it's 'You're The One That I Want' from Grease! They've re-titled it 'Electrifying'.

It's genius... it's also Friday and you're bored, so check it out here: http://www.spoiler.nl

That's fantastic Juboy. It is a great cover, however, not the best ever - that honor is held by Cake for their cover of I Will Survive.

There's a panel on the homepage, before you enter the site, on the right of the screen, says 'Electrifying' and has 'watch video' under it. Just hit that, go through to the Quicktime 'download now' part, download and prepare to love it.

You are wrong on that point Mr Junior Vice President. That accolade goes to Mike Flowers for his version of Wonderwall.

LMAO @ that cover Juboy

Faith No More's "Easy" is my favourite cover. But Gambit did send me an MP3 of Cake's "I Will Survive" and it was damn good

I guess we should start a thread about favorite covers... or we could just hijack Juboys, which ever is easier.

What's weird about that? I bought some new underwear by 'Violation' and it's good stuff, really soft.

Less Than Jake also did a great version of You're the one that I want - their version is much faster and punkier (in the true tradition of Less Than Jake)
They also did a good version of 500 miles (Proclaimers)

Nirvana's cover of Man who sold the world is pretty good.

Red Hot Chilli Peppers doing Stevie Wonders Higher Ground is cool too.

Nirvana's "Man who sold the world" is the best cover I heard by now, but "Billie Jean" from some german band (can't remember the name but video was done as "Psycho cover") comes damn close!

Not the greatest, but nevertheless most bizarre cover is the ENTIRE Pink Floyd The Wall album covered country-style by Luther Wright and the Wrongs.
Check out the MP3 of Goodbye Blue Sky
