Old Grey Whistle Test - when "live" was really "live"!

I stumbled on this on Youtube. An oldie but goldie classic.

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=j8I2oGriJTw

Let's be thankful that the good ol' Auntie Beeb has kept an archive of such important works.

What other "live" sessions can pass the test of time?

Great find Bob.

Personally I think this will stand the test of time, and I was lucky enough to be there to see it...

Re: Old Grey Whistle Test - when "live" was really "live"!

It was mate - and 4 months before Knebworth - was at both...and went clubbing straight after to "Golden" @ Sankeys, both times (which is not bad for the Knebworth gig, which finished at 2300, was in Mcr, clubbing at 0200)

Personally, I think that this is the best ever acoustic Oasis tune...Noel is a genius, I love him.

LOts of people actually forget that UB40 were a decent band, the first 2-3 albums (inc the great dub ones) are excellent
