Looks nice - it's even dual layered with a sw@nky (been caught with that one before) new cover (avatar) & 20 page book

A kind soul in the bargain forum also pointed out that its only £9 at Play

maybe when I fainally get a SACD player (other than the Philips player I use for DVD ) until then I shall make do with the poor quality vinyl version

I'm getting the SACD. It's being reissued on vinyl too. I've considered buying a copy of the record to collect it, but I'll proably just stick with the SACD.

I don't have my rear channels yet so can't listen to the multichannel mix.

I'm the last person to ask for a review also. sorry.

I can say though this is the first disc I have listened too which really does make the speakers seem absoloutely transparent/invisable with the sound seeming much larger than is possible from my BM6A's.

Had my first listen to the SACD of Dark Side of the Moon.... I am now a very happy person. I picked up a Sony XE670 from Richersouds just for this album so it kind of worked out to be the most expensive album purchase ever but I think it's worth it.

Now if they would only release the rest of the albums on SACD.... ahhhhhhhh

Fantastic use of the rear channels, and perfect sound quality.

Absolutely stunning

Multi channel music has officially arrived with this release - the mixing is absolutely tip top making for a true surround experience (it's just as well I don't go near THOSE substances anymore or I'd never leave the living room again)

Us & Them stands out for me as top remix - beautiful sax now sounds even better. The Great gig in the sky comes close with the vocals seeming to float around the room.

Could somebody please try if the CD layer can be played with a 'standard' DVD player? I've heard that DVD players have trouble playing these CD layers in general. I do not yet have a SACD player but was going to buy DSOTM any way, so I could buy this and have stereo sound until I upgrade..
