New AC/DC album

Well not quite, sorry.

But seeing as AC/DC are in no hurry to release a new album, you should listen to Airbourne instead - it's the best album AC/DC haven't released since For Those About To Rock. 11 tracks of hard driving rock'n'roll.

You could critisise it for being one-dimensional but if you're in the right mood it's fabulous.

Re: New AC/DC album

Someone somewhere must have knicked Angus's riff book and sold it to Airbourne, the thread title is so apt

Re: New AC/DC album

LOL, got me going there too, I was well excited when I saw the thread title.

But I do agree, Airbourne are surperb.

I saw them live at the Borderline in February. They were great, a pure old school rock'n'roll band. They they left stage dripping sweat, beer, and Jack Daniels.

Easily the best gig of the year so far.

I have always wanted to see them live, but they have come to Ireland so rarely.

So I have decided that the next time they tour, I will head to England to see them if they don't make it to Ireland.

Although them headlining at Slane Castle would be greatIt was heavily rumoured last year but never happened.

hehe, there's a venue I've not heard uttered for a while. Metallica used to use the place as a practise hall!
