Cheers ytgti
No, I don't think Eminem is in the band, although it seems someone may have using a chainsaw
Perhaps, the band thought they were Ewe 2 ?

You can always rely on the Scandanavian church burners to do something suitably daft to distact from how awful their music is .
Their entire careers seem to be built around urban legends about their exploits
Always good for a giggle if nothing else though.

Those guys are totally hardcore.
I remember the whole Norwegian Black Metal scene exploding, churches being destroyed, band suicides, homicides... you name it. There was actually an 'Inner Circle' of various band members that had detailed plans to turn the entire country of Norway into (their version of) Hell.
Some people claim that had Dead not killed himself and Varg Vikernes (Count Grishnackh) had not killed Euronymous, the media focus on the members wouldn't have been so strong (and more of them would have been alive and not incarcerated) and they might have continued further with their plans.
They may seem strange and deluded, but some of their ideas are actually very intelligent regarding religion and the nature of their nordic heritage.
Why they choose to present themselves in the way they do is beyond me because they do have some very salient points to make and are of much higher intellect than the majority of musicians.
Interestingly, many of the Norwegian bands, including Mayhem themselves, have started to distance themselves from satanism and inter-band warfare whilst Black Metal bands in Sweden have taken it upon themselves to 'out do' the Norwegian legacy...

Euronymous had a business mind and was making some money from his record store and labels but even he was far from earning anything approaching big money.
Nah, you might not like them, but they're doing it because they believe in it.

how are they still going if the lead singer is dead, the guitarist is also dead and the bassist is surely in prison?

I don't know the answer to your question, but wonder if the band had been listening to ---- Pop Will Eat Itself ?
Yummy Fur
Oh, I wonder if I've posted on the right thread?
