just come back from birmingham imax after watching one of the most amazing thinks ive ever seen on a big sceen.
yes im a massive u2 fan but also lover of live music so it could not be missed .
dont know what i was expecting with the 3d but it was more than i could have imagined , yes you had the usual 3d stuff like adam clayton sticking his bass in your face and bono touching you ( my wife just said you wish ) but it was the actual feel that you were at the concert the crowd were pin sharp and at times you felt like telling them to sit down.
and the sound bloody hell i like it loud but the bass rocked you in your seat.
the only thing that could have been better is if it was mainly a u2 crowd as i couldnt see anyone nodding or clapping their only seem to be and the wife with any life.
the actual concert was cut down from their usual ones as it only lasted 85 mins but for me 85 minutes worth of memories of the vertigo tour.
but even if you like a few of u2 songs its worth going just get afeel of the biggest band in the world strut their stuff.
