Roisin Murphy- Overpowered WOW!

Just when I was beginning to loose faith in decent Pop recordings I got this CD from ex Moloko ( all their albums were great recordings) singer Roisin Murphy. Amazing stereo image and gut wrenching yet punchy basslines. Oh and decent songs as well.

If you liked Moloko you'll love this. Albeit the neighbours wont

Re: Roisin Murphy- Overpowered WOW!

Man I saw her at Koko (London) last year; I had the Overpowered album, I'd heard it was good and just went out and bought it, went along to the gig not really knowing to expect, it was fantastic, she's brilliant live.

It's cracking album, much better than Ruby Blue.

She's gone back to her "moloko" sound.

Met her after a gig once, mad as a box of frogs, but really nice
