Question Best place to but tickets for gigs in Europe?

Can anyone suggest reliable places to buy tickets for gig's happening in Europe?

What kind of gigs, ticketmaster does most for uk and has links to other places that sell tickets in some countries in Europe.

I had checked out the ticketmaster site but only noticed 5 mins ago that you have to select which area you are interested in for tickets to that area

Think Im going to venture to Amsterdam to watch Portishead

Ive always wanted to see Portishead live,if the upcoming gigs are anything close to the NYC gig I will be a happy man
