I wasn't sure where exactly to put this topic, but figured I might start with the music forum. I recently came across some albums of my parents and have no use for vinyl. I am looking for the best way to sell them with out getting ripped off and need to know which are worth it, and which aren't. Any help or a point in the right direction would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Skyfox. There are some pretty good online LP retailers in the US, just do a google and find the nearest ones in your state. Otherwise Fleabay is the way to go. The US vinyl market is pretty good on there, I've used myself a few times to buy Japanese imports and MFSL vinyl.

I too find ebay the best for selling vinyl - it also gives to a good idea of what the real value is when you see identical items listed & selling.

Most my vinyl has gone to German or the US, so I wouldn't worry about shipping, it's easy if packaged up correctly.

I've done pretty well out of selling off some pretty rare material.
