Tuned into radio 2 the other day after your recomendation and think i will stick to radio 1 after having to listen to, Falco - rock me amadaeus & Right said fred - im to sexy, on the Steve wright show, or ill just turn of at 2pm.

yeah, real mixed bag with Radio 2. Must be a sign of getting older but I still prefer it to Radio 1 !

how times have changed....i can remember taking some old boys radio to bits at work and nicking one of the valves because he would'nt stop blaring out radio 2.......these days i find radio 1 total bum gravy.....and dont even get me started on moyels or whatever his name is

radio 1 is for young kids who would rather buy ringtones than cds.
radio 2 is for people who dont really care what they listen to as long as its bland and not hip hop or dance.

bbc 6 music is the best bbc radio station at present.

I listened to my Mums DAB radio the other day in the kitchen and I really enjoyed 'Mojo' there was no DJ or adverts just good music - I'm not sure if it is always like this though as that was the first time I've listened to it.
