Thanks: Gave 84, Got 93 | Help me finish my training mix CD!!
Evening,
I am putting together a mix CD to work out to so that includes weights and running.
I need some inspiration on finishing it off as my memory has gone completely blank!! Looking for songs to get the old blood pumping and help me through the dark times (like the last 5 mins of my run when I am hangin!!)
So far I have:
Prodigy - Firestarter
Josh Wink - Higher state of consciousness
Cafe Del Mar - Energy 52
Rocky IV - Training montage (dont laugh its great for running!!)
Prodigy - No Good
Faithless - Insomnia
Public Doain - Operation Blade
So you can see the way I am heading and the era, takes me back to my raving years (quite some time ago now.........) and great top work out to!!
So any recommendations?
Cheers!

The Shamen, loads to choose from.
Barthezz, On the Move.
Linus Loves, Stand Back.
Was gonna suggest Eye of the Tiger because yes, it is great to train to.

You're going to think I'm mad, but I oft times do my training to the Sympathy for Lady Vengeance soundtrack (free download from the film's web-site)
It's all classical but there is a good range of pace which helps me catch my breath before completely kn***ing me with Pagagnini's Variations.

i always think you cant go wrong with some cheesy movie montage music when working out. Some movie tracks i'd suggest would be,
Dare by Stan Bush (Transformers the movie)
Never by Moving Pictures (Footloose)
The Dragons Heartbeat (Dragon the Bruce Lee story)
Hearts on Fire (Rocky IV)
No Easy Way out (Rocky IV)
