Thanks: Gave 44, Got 139 | anyone got Sum41-ITI?
Anyone bought this album, apparently no Nu metal in it at all, more old school hard and heavy and mixed by Andy Wallance (he of Nevermind and RATM fame) oohhh might have to get it and I have tried not to buy anything in the Linkin Park, Sum 41 type of thing.
Any thoughts?

I'm very upset about Sum41 right now because I ordered the limited edition of All Killer, No Filler with bonus VCD and it got lost in the post and the supplier can't send me a replacement as it was their last one
Good band but their CDs are SO short it's unbelievable!
What's ITI???? | |

Thanks: Gave 44, Got 139 | maybe its so short it disappeared, thats because there was no filler and maybe the killer bit was very very tiny, apologies, just watched DD this afternoon.

Yes, it's good stuff. Their best album as lyrics are more mature. Very short though. Get the one with the bonus DVD. Good for bashing the steering wheel to while sitting in traffic

As its mixed by Andy Wallance, I will now purchase said album on your recommendation, no doubt the drums sound suitably big and punchy.
Can I bash TB instead.

Bought this album today.......its great fun, might have miserable lyrics (smiths style) but its great.
Reminds me a bit of the Beach Boys summertime albums, except in a heavy stylee.
They are more like Boston in style than a lot of numetal bands.
2nd track uses 'mirror in the bathroom' riff but who cares, the second uses Metallica sliding riffs, who gives a monkees.
last two tracks are parodies of all the HM bands of a few years ago...............iron maiden etc.
As SG said great to bash your steering wheel in time to.

Thought you'd like it
You should let me recommend more music to you
BTW, I think Linkin Park are crap and lack any originality, so I'm glad you haven't bought any

No I haven't. I like Nirvana. I went through my grunge stage and I'll stick with what I have
Get some Staind if you haven't already (particularly their last album, their first one you might find a bit heavy)

too heavy......rubbish, I can take twice as much heavy as you can.
I got Slayer, see (in a welsh accent) and Tool, for the complex stuff.

Get both Staind CDs then. They're absolutely superb. Much better than Tool when they do the thrashy stuff, up there with the Chili Peppers when they do the more acoustic stuff
