Gets my vote!

Then again, could we not have a whip round and hire a hitman?

God, it's tempting isn't it. I get so damned frustrated with all this manufactured cr*p flying around. They take the p*ss with filling the TV airwaves with creating this junk and then fill the radio with it... And don't even get me started on the charts!!!

But, what about Fame Academy - a slightly different idea that I have actually quite enjoyed. Some fairly decent tracks been "written" by the contestants. They are certainly more talented than the other cr*p we've seen.

I didn't say it was quality, just that it was better than the other cr*p!

Which rifle you want? The .22 or the 40mm?

No, I haven't heard the album, not a huge fan of the band though.

Fame acadamy - yeah maybe, but the rest..... and then they wonder why CD sales are dropping like the leaves in autumn. The whole music industry needs to get its act together before corporate greed consigns it to the dustbin.

I've bought a lot of DVDs the last couple of years but only a couple of CDs. I can see and hear the added value from DVD, I'm blowed if I can with CD.

Anybody with the talent can produce CDs the equal of any commercial recordings both in content and artwork, retail them for 6 quid and still make a healthy profit.

I remember the tale of woe when they first came out. Then the story was, 'these cost more to produce than vinyl so we have to charge you more. Oh and by the way we're cutting the royalty percentage to the artists for the same reason.'

Within a year, CDs were MUCH cheaper to produce than vinyl but I don't remember the price coming down........

You can abstain all you want. At the end of the day, the CD single market is funded predominantly by kids (well, by parents that give kids the money). That's why the Top 40 now is nothing like it was in say the 60s and 70s because the demographics have changed - then, everyone bought CD singles; now, adults mainly buy albums (and rightfully so!).

I always quite liked Richard Gere, and Louis Theroux is a brilliant reporter
