Just heard an interview with him after recieving his brit award that made me feel good, he said that the brits is run by record companies and that oasis shouldnt have the lifetime achievment award, it should of gone to depeche mode!! my favorite group.
But he said of course they would not get it due to them never being on a big label, fair play to the man

noel's always good for a quote.....thought his brothers voice sounded crap during the set on the brits last night...as for depech mode..not really a fan but you got to hand it to em ....popular everywhere bar here.
remember being in germany a few years back and all the german skinheads seemed to be into them

Umm, he could have refused to perform that lengthy medley if he felt so strongly about it.
And most bands don't last 13 years because they have the courage to try something different after the third album. Oasis just churn out the same boring formula every time. People buy it because it's safe and predictable (and, of course, they've heard all those riffs before so it's only like buying a T Rex/Slade/Kinks greatest hits album).
