Quick question, can anyone tell me what the name of the music in the opera scene in Hannibal, i'm sure it's in the film the Mission too,

Think it may be this....Vide Cor Meum,

The piece was actually composed specifically for Hannibal by Hans Zimmer, Riddley scott mentions it on the commentary track

It is called Vide Cor Meum, it was a track on the Ultimate Movie album, released by Universal a few years back.. its on cd1

FWIW I heard it in The Kingdom of Heaven directror's cut as well.

I was a bit confused, i watched both Kingdom of heaven dc and The Mission recently, and got mixed up, what i can't weigh up i that Hans Zimmer get the credits on some sites but it seems looking into it that Patrick Cassidy actualy wrote that paticular peice. Whoever wrote it it's a pretty special peice of music, well out of my usual genre,although i do have plenty of soudtracks and sound great on my Zen, so much so i was nearly knocked down today while listening to it! M ust be more carefull,

I loved this particular piece of music when I saw the film, so was rather pleased when I picked up the Hannibal 3 disc set shortly after for only £3.99 and found that the third disc was the CD soundtrack with this beautiful piece of music on it.

I wonder if someone could download this 667k 40 second MP3 portion and help me identify it......it actually sounds a bit like Katherine Jenkins, but it's not on her 2 CD's.
