Any old Neil Young fans on here

If you have got this far set your dvd/vcr/pvr or just watch BBC4 Fri 20.30 to 21.00 half an hour of total perfection. Perhaps better than the 'HARVEST' versions IMO.

this is a really great in concert, i haven't seen it in years, but i have the audio on a bootleg. just neil on his own with no band, and i think some of the classics he plays were before the album was out. unplugged 20 years before mtv

Yes that is the one; I hope.

Neil tells the audience he is going to play stuff they will not have heard so must be before Harvest came out.

I think the Set list is:

Out On The Weekend
Old Man
Journey Through The Past
Heart of Gold
Don't Let It Bring You Down
A Man Needs A Maid
Love In Mind
Dance Dance Dance

In fact just checked this BBC In concert is 1971 and Harvest did not come out until '72 IIRC.

Re: Any old Neil Young fans on here

Voice even better than I remembered. I think some chat was cut though and my partner thinks a track was missing from the original (she has a better memory than me) not checked yet though. What about those dancing graphics; and oh so cool audience; real period piece. Brilliant.

There was a Joni Mitchell Concert from the same '70s BBC series on earlier in the week.
