Cool Your Favourite Pieces Of Music But From All Different Genres

How broad is your taste in music? So what are you favourite pieces of music from different music genres?
Here are some of mine;

Rock---Layla by Eric Clapton.
Soul--- Long After Tonight’s All Over by Jimmy Radcliffe.
Classical---(2nd movement) Adagio of Concierto de Aranjuez by Rodrigo (that was tough narrowing it down).
Easy Listening---Stella by Starlight wrote by Victor Young
Film Main Title---Capricorn One.
TV Main Title---Man From U.N.C.L.E.
Jazz---Women of Ireland by Bob James.

Good post.

Here the sort off stuff I have been listening to recently.

Rock---Paul Weller (Been listening to some of his more acoustic numbers lately)
Soul--- Maxwell (Urban Hang Suite & Embrya Albums)/ Maze Feat. Frankie Beverly (Maze album)
Classical— not something I am really into and wouldn’t know were to start.
Easy Listening---Norah Jones
Film Main Title--- tuff one.
TV Main Title--- Eastenders
Jazz---Fever by Peggy Lee
Reggae -- Gregory Isaacs (Night Nurse album)

Hope you don’t mind but added Reggae as well to make up for my know nothing off Classical

Cheers Holo

Rock I'm a huge fan of The Who, The Clash, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd so It's tough to choose just one track out of all those I guess I'll choose The Who - Substitute...

Soul Commodores - 3 Time a Lady.

Classical Pavarotti - Nessun Dorma. I think

Easy Listening ( So many i love ) Tough choice again, i guess it's between REO SpeedWagon - Keep on Loving you and Cutting Crew - ( I just died ) in your arms tonight.

Film Main Title The Nightmare Before Christmas - If that's allowed ?

TV Main Title Only Fools and Horses.

Jazz I loved the Jazz at the Pawn shop album i had years ago on vinyl. I just wish i could find it on CD.

Reggae UB40 - 1 in 10..

In truth music is my number one passion ( apart from gorgeous women that is ) so my music changes as much as the weather does

Still by the Commodores would probably come joint second with Could it be Im Falling In Love by The Detroit Spiners.

I find it way to hard to narrow it down to single songs, so i'm just gonna name a couple of my favourite groups/artists from each genre.

Rock - Guns N Roses, Rolling Stones, Alice Cooper
Classical - Carl Orff (been a while since i've listened to any classical really, so i cant narrow down any other favourites).
Easy Listening - Nobuo Uematsu (most well known for the soundtracks to the Final Fantasy games).
Film Main Title - I dont know about a specific Title song but for a whole soundtrack, you cant go far wrong with Grosse Point Blank or Pulp Fiction.
TV Main Title - I dont really watch much T.V. so i'm gonna have to leave this one blank.
Jazz - Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald
Reggae - Toots & The Maytals, Max Romeo, The Pioneers

I'm also gonna add a couple of genres.

Blues - Screamin Jay Hawkins, John Lee Hooker, The Blues Brothers Band
Ska - The Slackers, Prince Buster
Two-Tone - The Specials, Madness
Punk - The Clash, Stiff Little Fingers, Radio One
