DVD Audio track options how ???? Eric ?

How do you choose the audio format you want to listen too???

EG: Natalie Merchant - Tigerlillie no menu at all for sound options so how can I play the Dolby Digital track ???

If I use bitstream out put from my Tosh 900E I get 2 channel pcm
If I use the analog outs I get the AR tracks

But there is no way of choosing the Dolby Digital 5.1 track!!

Then the is Paul Simon - Your the one
This disc has Dolby Digital 5.1, DTS 5.1, AR 5.1 and AR 2 Channel

The only menu options for audio are Surround or Stereo and again I am unable to get the Dolby Digital 5.1 or the DTS tracks to play??

Any help appreciated.

Thanks
Bry

Bry,
Sadly, both these titles are missing from my shelves (although Natalie Merchant is on my shopping list) I presume you are viewing the on screen menu of both discs?
Have you tried the 'Audio Change' button?

Eric

Yes have tried the audio button but no effect, it must be locked in the software

BTW am very impressed with both titles

Had I not of got a dvd audio player I would probably never of sampled these and would be missing out on some great music.

I think the only way to get the Dolby and or DTS would be to play them in a dvd video player only, but that may be the intention anyway, making the assumption that if you have DVD Audio capability why would you want to listen to the other formats on the disc.
I want too because I like to compare.
