Albums you may have missed-interested ?

I started doing a little bit of research the other day as I seemed to be running out of albums to buy.

Now, I have always been keen on Martin Strongs Great Discography books, but have usually just used them to lok up the best album to buy for a particular band, but its now easier to do that on AMD. But, Im finding that AMD is not quite as critical as MS and there have been several times when I thought the albums chosen were not the best. MS, on the other hand always seems to give accurate scores that I agree with.

The Great Discograhy contains several 10/10 albums, but these are in the minority, but there are a lot of 9/10 albums that I have never looked at. So, yesterday I started going through the book and listing those that I dont have. Latest buys have been Deftones-Adrenaline and Korn-Korn and both are great albums.

Anyone interested in the list ?

The problem I have with other peoples assessments and best lists is that I don't like it when they disagree with mine . Having said that, I always look at greatest album lists just to see how many I own, or if there are any glaring omissions.

So I'd certainly be interested initially just to see how much I agree, then if all bodes well purchases will be made.

Remember, it isn't a 'best' list, it's actually a 'second best' list if you will. MS does not do a list, so I am having to trawl through the book, page by page to dig out those that get a 9/10 score. Of course, if I already own the album then I wont bother with marking it.
