My guess is that it'll be a regular DVD, as per Roadrunners history with album re-releases...

On a similar note, as someone who has seen the Opeth name bandied about in recommendation threads but has never heard anything by them, where should I start?

It's quite a tough question because their back catalogue is so strong, but I'd say 'Blackwater Park' is a good place to start, or the new one 'Ghost Reveries'. But 'Blackwater Park' is better IMO!

Blackwater Park was my introduction album. And it's very listenable whilst introducing some of the heavier aspects of their sound.

My first & my favourite (although Ghost Reveries is up there).

I was also recommended Still Life, but don't find it as compulsive as BP.

Man i cant wait to hear Ghost of perdition or isolation years in surround sound.

Wonder whatever happened to the supposed DVD-A of Still Life?
