Has anyone heard the Maximo Park album? OMG its good!

What other bands do you like Slado? I was thinking about picking it up but the single I've heard so far doesn't do enough for me, how does the album compare to the single?

It gets better the more times you listen to it. Last week i purchased 5 albums:

Maximo park - A certain trigger
The Rakes - Capture/Release
Arcade Fire - Funeral
We Are Scientists - With Love & Squalor
The White Stripes - Get Behind Me Satan

Out of these i've played the maximo park album the most. I guess you could say i like rock/indie. But also many other genres.

Saw Maximo Park in Feb last Year on the NME tour. Awsome band, supporting was the Cribs, their album is really good too.

I bought this for my daughter at xmas, she was always watching their videos on mtv.

I borrowed it for a listen - she keeps asking for it back - it is outstanding.

I hope they tour this year, if she'll let her old embarrassing dad go
