Thanks: Gave 705, Got 434 | Deacon Blue - Raintown, wot a fab album!
Just dug this out of the rack, not really sure why but it really is a fantastic album! Not a duff track on there and classics like Dignity. If you haven't heard it I recommend you give it a try!

Raintown is very very good
Unfortunately it was all downhill for DB after that thought they did have a few other classics like Fergus Sings The Blues
The drummer Dougie Vipond is now a presenter for BBC Scotland Sport, the wummin is an actress on a BBC soap called River City and the keyboard died recently
Did get a Ricky Ross solo CD af ew years back for 50p sealed |

Wasn't the wummin Ricky's wife ?
I remember seeing them both together at a Springsteen show in Edinburgh on the Tom Joad tour.

Thought you might like to know of a band featuring ex Deacon Blue members along with ex Simple Minds Mick MacNiel, Mel Gaynor & Derek Forbes along with ex Big Country & other Scottish band members http://www.afewgoodmen.info/links.htm
Regards

couldn't believe how much I paid for this album, sticker on there, bought from Andys Records for the princely sum of £13.49 and this must have been at least 10 years ago! How we can really complain about the price of a CD is beyond me....
