dvd-a and dire straits

have read on a couple of sites that brothers in arms is available on dvd-audio is this correct, as i thought you could only get it on sacd

It's a dualdisc -- CD one side and DVD-A on the other side. It's available from the US, but can also be sourced via Amazon.co.uk.

according to this
available as a DualDisc but be aware this does not always mean there is any sort of surround sound mix (which of course the SACD does have)

The dualdisc Brothers In Arms has a surround mix.

thanks for the replys only have one dualdisc which seems to work ok will try to get hold of brothers in arms, why is it so hard to get english bands on dualdisc in this country i also had trouble finding keanes dualdisc in this country

had a look on amazon they quote it as dvd-audio does not say anything about being a dualdisc unlike axel music ?

thanks paul have ordered it from axel music never used them before seems like a few forum members have though, also ordered simple minds dvd-audio as well

The NGD by Simple Minds is excellent on DVD espexially being in DTS. Sounds like a totally different album.
