Regatta De Blanc SACD (or is it?)

I bought the SACD version of Regatta De Blanc, by the Police ages ago - before I even had a SACD compatible player. At the time, I (wrongly) thought it might offer "enhanced" performance on a normal CD player. Obviously it didn't.

However, now that I've bought the necessary hardware, I can't seem to get my Sony DVP-LS785V to recognise it as an SACD (even though it plays other SACDs with no problems).

The disc appears free of scratches. Just wondered if anyone else has had this problem - either with this particular disc, or any SACD?

It said "Keep dry and away from children" and I have done ever since.
