Nope dunno about that but the recording of Cd/Vinyl is diabolical so I don't expect any great transformation in sound quality for the DVD variant if one is/becomes available.

Alchemy – Dire Straits Live re-release « Mark Knopfler and Dire Straits

looks very good, and IMO Dire Straits at their best, after Love over Gold and before Brothers in Arms.
