Just bought Robbies new album

Was released here in Germany today. After one listen I am left completely underwhelmed. For the first time with RW I was reaching for the skip button on my cd player. No stand out tracks, all in all pretty flat and disappointing, I just hope it gets better after several listens.

Anyone else got it and have any thoughts?

I've avoided buying this album as the singles I've heard from it were very poor IMO. I have all his other albums and think there are some excellent tracks on all of them. I'll wait untill the price drops to around Ģ5 for it and 'might' buy it then, but I would never pay full price

I think his split from Guy Chambers was a big mistake

Mark.

Could not agree more mate. I have listened a couple more times and itīs still as bland and lacklustre as the first time.
I have no doubt it will sell shed loads just because itīs RW but he is definately off course with this one.
Not really the return to form many people were expecting after Escapology
