I also got an email from BandCD and was a little suspicious as the address they used was one I keep for CD-Wow. A Google around shows that people in other forums are equally suspicious - based in Singapore (notorious for piracy), domain name registered in USA.
Regarding the email they sent to me, 2 things spring to mind. Either they are a legit offshoot of CD-Wow (the site is very similar in feel) or Worldpay have sold on a list of email addresses.
What do you reckon?

I thought it was something to do with CD-wow but they would be direct compitition

So far I can't find anyone that has ordered as everybody is thinking the same thing.

Someone said that it cost 500+ to set up a Worldpay account so its an expensive way if it is a scam?

Sounds good

I had the following from them today
Quote:
We wish to advise you that the following item(s) has been despatched
from our Distribution Centre today:

Dire Straits - Sultan Of Swing-Best Of
Coldplay - Live 2003

Kindly allow up to 7 days for this item to arrive.
They are definatly slower then a lot of places: Took 3 days from order to dispatch and may take 7 days to deliver.....but they are cheap and had a better selection of DVD-As then almost everyone else I have looked at

Got the cd yesterday.....

To review:

Ordered Friday 15th,
Sent Saturday 16th,
Recieved Tuesday 26th...

Not a bad service especially for the price....

Quite a long delivery time, but if the prices stay as cheap you can't really argue

I personally think that play are a better company than cd-wow, especially for dvd's!!!

I now generally buy from sendit or play for dvd's, and will use bangcd or cdwow for cd's.

I know with cd-wow you can easily get £1 vouchers off and that makes the cd's about £7.75. But for the sake of the cd's taking 1 or two days longer to arrive, i would definetly use bangcd and save my £.76

I also have had a few small problems ordering off cd-wow because you never know when stuff is in stock and have often delayed orders because of stock issues. They have even done this on preordered items, which is rediculous cos they should know how many to order. All in all, would never hesitate to recommend...

So I assume the goods are pucka originals then ? If so, it seems worth while looking at, unless there's any problem with import duty.
