Tommy Bolin 'Teaser'

Found this little snippet on the deep purple site while cheacking out the new Dixie Dregs DVD.
In December 2004 we were able to confirm that an upgraded version of his debut solo album 'Teaser' is on the cards, and that it was to be upgraded beyond anyone's wildest dreams. We can now pass on some more information. There are three CDs due in what is called The Tommy Bolin Master Series. They will contain a mass of previously unheard studio recordings of amazing quality, with alternate versions (radically alternate in many cases) of songs we know, and some we don't. Exact details of the final formats are still to be decided, but will include stereo versions and some 5.1 mixes, and possibly some DVD footage as well. All this is in addition to any reworkings of the existing studio albums. The TBA are reacting by recycling some of their old material on another compilation.

I shall be checking this out... thanks for the heads-up !

Am a huge all-things-Purple fan. If you like Bolin, try and get hold of a copy of 'Days May Come', its the rehearsal tapes of when he first joined Deep Purple and the band basically just jammed in the studio... thankfully with the tape running. Bolin plays some truly blistering solos...

Hope the new material includes the mythical/legendary 15 minute solo at the end of Post Toastie... It always disappointed me, the way that one faded out just as he was really beginning to crank it up...
