Downloading from MSN

Please move if this is the wrong area.

Finally got around to downloading music (wanted to do it legally) but have had some problems with MSN.

1st problem - the track I downloaded was not what was advertised. Does this happpen a lot? I have to listen to every track now before I download.

2nd problem - After not downloading for about a month, my account appears to need credit. So that 1 track cost me £10. What happened to that £10? Is it gone forever? Is it back in my account? Do I need to spend £10 a month on this place?

I think I know the answer already so was wondering if anyone can suggest a decent place to download music (one which will not also download viruses)
