Kraftwerk – Minimum Maximum

Not sure how many Krafters there are here, but just received there latest release a live 2CD set from their last european tour, and its blindingly good, if anyone liked the Tour De France Soundtracks then this will blow them away, includes all their best stuff musically its stunning (a great way to sample Kraftwerk for the first time) and the recording quality is sublime.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...843263-3010230

If you’re a long time Kraftwerk fan you’ll love this, if your new to them you’ll love it as its their best stuff, and anyone who bought Jarres : Aero CD and liked that should buy this without delay.

EDIT: http://www.beatfreax.nl/s/760edfdc1f/art_id/856.html

Nope you imagined correctly Andy, the 4XLP Vinyl set & 2CD have been released, still to come are the 2 DVD-V & 5.1 SACD disc.

Vinyl costs £30
CD £12

Not sure what the DVD-V & SACD will retail at or when they are released.

Saw them live in Manchester last year (or was it the year before that. I can't remember).
Excellent concert. I found their new album alright, but nowhere as good as their earlier material.
I wonder what the album is like which they never released?
It was ready for release so I wonder why it wasn't.

The marketing geniuses strike again! Why not just release the Hybrid SACD? Why do we need the Redbook CD as well?

Looking forward to the DVD. I have the 2CDs, quite good.

It was a good surprise after the abysmal new double U.N.K.L.E CD that was released recently

Yea the CD is fantastic. The quality is about as good as you will ever get. Far, far superior to an earlier CD I have of them in concert which is more suitable for a place mat

Only downer/s is they didn't include, in their concert and/or the CD, Radioland, comet melody 2 or a fuller version of Autobahn.

Pieved I'd missed them in concert... just didn't know they were touring!

Considering strongly to get the DVD too.

I'm loving it too

Yeah - I also love it am gutted I missed the concert. Must be the coolest old dudes in Germany - I reckon. It does intrigue me if they are busy on MSN messenger during the gig but all part of their act. The visuals are stunning too...recommended

Watched a fair proportion of the DVD on Saturday. Enjoyed it. Pic quality is good (not as good as Jarre in China - but what is?!) and the sound excellent. Musique Non Stop was never a favourite of mine but it's awesome live!

My sub was creating some very pleasing low sonics!
